The Utah Prevention Network is a subcommittee of the Utah Behavioral Healthcare committee, (which is a committee of the Utah Association of Counties). It is made up of Prevention Directors from each of the 13 health district Local Authorities (LAs) in the state of Utah. Each of these directors oversees prevention staff and services in their respective areas.
The Office of Substance Use and Mental Health Prevention Administrators, including Regional Prevention Directors, provide oversight, training and support. Mission Statement:
To prevent substance use and related mental, emotional and family challenges across the state of Utah and advise UBHC on prevention related issues. |
